Template
Templates for printing on the ImproMed Card Printer are not restricted to being created in Infinity
or Triple Crown (hereinafter referred to as “Software”). With the printer’s ability to print multiple
layers on both sides of the card, and its ability to print detailed graphics in a high resolution, it
only makes sense to use other applications to print images and other static information onto the
cards and then use the Software to print the dynamic information unique to each card. Static
information on the cards would include any and all information that is not related to the unique
client and patient that the card is being printed for. For example, a clinic may choose to have one
side of the card print their logo and their clinic information. This all could be done in Word and
this side of the card could be printed ahead of time. The other side of the card would have all of
the client and patient information and would be generated, as needed, from the Software.
In this document I will focus on using Microsoft Word and Infinity to create the cards. The
instructions for creating the cards from MS Word are as follows:
1. In MS Word you will need to create a new document. (File > New > Blank Document)
2. Go to File > Print and choose the CIM K300 printer from the printer list.
3. Depending on the version of Microsoft Word being used, this may reset the page size to
3.41” X 2.13”. If it does not:
a. Go to File > Page Setup
