Card Printer Test Cards

Printing a Test Card from the Printer

1. Turn the printer off.

2. Place a single card in the card feeder.

3. Hold the Power Button (blue on top) down and turn the power back on.

4. After the indicator lights turn off (red light stops blinking), release the Power Button.

5. A test card will print.

Printing a Test Card from the Computer

1. Go to the computer where the Card Printer is physically connected.

2. Log on to Windows as Administrator.

3. Click on Start | Settings | Printers and Faxes or Start | Printers and Faxes.

4. Right-click the Eltron Card Printer.

5. Left-click Properties.

6. Click the Device Settings tab.

7. Click Tools…

8. Click Properties.

9. Place a single card into the card feeder.

10. Click the

button. This will

print out a test card, assuring you that the

computer and printer are communicating

properly.
