4. With the blank Card Template open the static part of the card can begin to be laid out. As
an example:

5. Once the static information is completed, the cards can be printed directly from Word.
6. Next, load any of the Card Printer Label Layouts file available in the downloads area of the
Online CSC.
a. This database update adds the standard label page named CR-80 to Infinity
b. This database update adds the Card Printer to the Application Printer List (File >
Workstation Preferences > Set the card printer to the ImproMed Card Printer)
c. This database update also adds a label to the standard label list called Pet Id
7. Copy and modify the existing PetId standard label template or create a new Standard Label
using the Label page titled CR-80 and the label printer titled Card Printer.
8. To print on the backside of the card the card needs to be flipped on the short edge. Looking
at the image above, the left edge of this card would be placed face down and inserted first
into the card feeder of the printer. It is recommended that the clinic take a card and mark
it as to which way the cards need to be placed in the card feeder tray in order to print
correctly. This sample card should remain by the printer for reference whenever new cards
need to be loaded.
9. To print the card go to Labels
10. Select the patient(s)
11. Select the standard label template created above and click print.
12. The PetID label is set to prompt for the image to be displayed on the card. When printing
the PetID label, you will need to click the desired image and click OK before the PetId card
will print.
